Videos of Kodak Zi8: Make a simple $4 Macro closeup lens for your Kodak zi8 video camera

| A few days ago I posted a video showing how to make a simple $1 camera cradle or camera caddy. I was trying to make something that would stabilize my Kodak zi8. What I found out was a cradle does not do a very good job stabilizing, it helps a lot, and it makes a very nice way to hold the camera. however, what a cradle is really good for is all of the ways you can add to it or modify it to increase the use of your camera. in my $1 camera cradle video I describe numerous ways to use a cradle to increase the effectiveness of a camera. One of the ways I wanted to try first was to add a magnifier and try to make a macro lens. this video shows me doing just that. It was my first time using the magnifying lens , but I think it worked out great and can be improved even more. I hope you enjoy the video and subscribe if you like them. If you are interested in making underwater videos, i make and sell the nemo 200 underwater housing for video cameras, it is a very reliable, simple and affordable design. Please go to NemoHousing.com to see for your self. Any questions please email me. regards, Robb Moffett RobMoffett (at) gmail(dot)com |
